It begins in that typical fashion. Some start off with a pen, others with chalk, some pass notes from one room to another. I know some blokes that would begin by invoking the name of God, and those that would start by mocking them. There are those who start off by celebrating and some that begin by singing. To be honest, I don't know what works well, but I decided to press down certain keys hoping to create some rhythm. The beats will come together, perhaps not in the 4/4 or 6/4 conventional measures, but maybe in a dusty concerto that can't get passed the second movement.
